Privacy
Clear about the information you send us.
This notice explains how EconToMarks handles information submitted through its public contact and correction form.
Information you provide
When you use the public contact or correction form, EconToMarks receives the name, email address, category, subject and message you submit. You may also provide the page URL or path connected to your report.
During review, the private newsroom may add an internal status or note so a submission can be assessed, resolved and recorded accurately.
How the information is used
Contact submissions are used to review and respond to feedback, investigate corrections or technical problems, manage editorial records and protect the service from misuse.
EconToMarks does not sell personal information submitted through the contact form.
Service providers and disclosure
EconToMarks uses infrastructure and database service providers to operate the site and store submissions. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the service or investigate abuse. Access to contact submissions is not part of the public website.
Retention
Submissions are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for editorial review, support, security and record-keeping purposes. Some information may be retained for longer where there is a legitimate operational or legal reason to do so.
Third-party links
EconToMarks links to primary sources, public data, image repositories and other external websites. Those services operate under their own privacy practices, and this notice does not control what happens after you leave EconToMarks.
Your choices
You can ask about information you have submitted, or request that it be corrected or deleted where appropriate, through the contact form. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal or editorial-integrity reasons.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as the service changes. The date above shows when the current version was last revised.
