About EconToMarks

Understand the event. Use the evidence.

EconToMarks is a student-led, independent economics learning publication for A-Level students. We turn real events into concise, source-backed material that can strengthen an answer.

Reporting

We begin with what happened, not with a diagram. Every brief aims to make the underlying event clear before connecting it to a syllabus idea.

Thinking

We separate evidence from interpretation, and show where evaluation belongs. No example is presented as a guaranteed exam answer.

Learning

The goal is a better daily reading habit: fewer disconnected facts, more usable economic reasoning.

Who is behind it

Built by a student, for students.

EconToMarks was created by an A-Level student to solve a practical revision problem: economics examples are often either current but difficult to use, or easy to revise but already outdated. The project is designed to bridge that gap with current evidence, clear economic reasoning and direct links to the underlying source.

Independent by design.

EconToMarks is not an examination board, school publication or official teaching authority, and it should not be treated as a substitute for a teacher, specification or mark scheme. Any institutional support, partnership or endorsement will be stated explicitly rather than implied.
